HumanHire was founded in 2019 with a straightforward conviction: recruiting had become too transactional, too passive, and too dependent on whoever happened to apply. The staffing industry had largely settled into a post-and-wait model, and the people on both sides of the hiring equation deserved better.
From the beginning, we built our process differently. Rather than waiting for candidates to come to us, our recruiters go out and find them—identifying, engaging, and screening qualified talent before a role ever becomes urgent. That proactive approach, combined with deep industry knowledge and a human-first commitment to every search, became the foundation everything else was built on.
Where We Are Today
From Long Island to nationwide.
What started as a Long Island-based recruiting firm has grown into a national practice, supporting employers and candidates across multiple markets in healthcare, manufacturing and engineering, legal, and professional services.
Our Long Island roots aren’t something we’ve grown out of. They’re part of how we work: relationship-driven, locally connected, and deeply familiar with the markets we serve. We’ve simply extended that same approach across the country.
